John Mosby was born at an early age and after coming runner-up in the UK's acclaimed Jackanory Writing Competition at the age of eight, it was clear that free-range creativity was in his blood.

He has now been a respected journalist for over twenty years, concentrating on the quality end of entertainment business coverage and has written in-depth articles and columns for over thirty diverse publications such as Total Film, Film Review, SFX, Dreamwatch, TV Zone, Comic World, Starlog, Sci-Fi Universe, and the Yorkshire Evening Post. For the last ten years he has served as editor of the UK newstand magazine IMPACT - involving the commissioning of articles, page-planning of issues, the writing of multiple features and arranging interviews with some of the most cutting-edge talent in the business.

While continuing as a freelance journalist, John also handles the PR and branding for several other outlets. Such duties have often included redesigning company logos, creating branding across a range of merchandise, shooting portrait and landscape photographs, supplying promotional material for businesses to hand to their customers and also eMCeeing/panel hosting several international events in locations including Los Angeles (USA), Sydney (Australia), Vancouver (Canada), London and Leeds (United Kingdom).

John is the author of three books (including an official X-Men book for Boxtree) and has been referenced in many more.
